Cookies:
We may use “cookies” (internal or third-party) to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive. A “Flash cookie,” also known as a local shared object, functions like a web cookie to personalize a user’s experience on sites that use Adobe Flash Player. A “web beacon,” also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server. We and our third-party service providers may use beacons in emails to help us track response rates, identify when our emails are accessed or forwarded, and for other purposes listed above.
When you use our Services or open our emails (internal or third-party), we may obtain certain information by automated means, such as browser cookies, Flash cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, server logs and other technologies. The information we obtain in this manner may include your device IP address, domain name, identifiers associated with your devices, device and operating system type and characteristics, web browser characteristics, language preferences, clickstream data, your interactions with our Services (such as the web pages you visit, links you click and features you use), the pages that led or referred you to our Services, dates and times of access to our Services, and other information about your use of our Services.
To the extent required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before placing cookies or similar technologies on your computer. You can stop certain types of cookies from being downloaded on your computer by selecting the appropriate settings on your web browser. Most web browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new browser cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new browser cookie and how to disable existing cookies.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit certain online pages that record your preferences. We use cookies to track use of our Sites and other Services. We may also use cookies to monitor traffic, improve the Sites, improve your browsing experience, make the Sites easier and/or relevant for your use, and improve the performance of our advertising on other websites. For instance, if you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). When asked, Website administrators can also see and edit that information. When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. You can opt out of accepting cookies by adjusting your browser settings to not accept cookies or to notify you when you are sent a cookie. However, certain features of our Sites or other Services may not work if you delete or disable cookies.
Web Beacons: Some pages of our Sites and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email, and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
When Purchasing and Selling Resources:
Purchases: When you make a purchase through our Services, you’ll need to provide billing and payment information to complete your order. We’ve carefully chosen Service Providers who use
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant practices to process
payments (“Payment Processors”). Whether you check out using a credit or debit card,
PayPal account, Stripe, or any other payment method we may support, your payment will be
processed directly by our Payment Processor and we’ll never have access to or store your full
payment details.
When you use a credit or debit card to pay for your purchases, you’ll be asked to add a credit
or debit card payment source (“Payment Card”). When you submit your order, this
information will be sent directly to and stored by our Payment Processor. After your payment
is processed, the Payment Processor will send Therapy Homeroom some details about the transaction so that we can record your order in our database and provide access to the materials that you purchased.
The Payment Card you added will be available for future use on your Account. You can edit
or remove this information at any time by navigating to the checkout page or by contacting us
for assistance.
If you choose to pay using PayPal, you’ll log in to your PayPal account to complete your
order. When PayPal processes your payment, they’ll send us a confirmation with transaction
details so we can record your order and provide access to the Resources or services you’ve
purchased. We do not collect information about or have access to specific payment or
funding sources or any other financial account details associated with your PayPal account.
Selling Resources: If you choose to become a vendor via our Marketplace, there are some additional contact details we collect to ensure that we can reach you and deliver your earnings payments in the method you choose. You’ll also have a store page and profile, where you can choose to provide additional details about yourself to your customers. The information you add to your store profile is information that visitors can see.
The following information is visible to others:
Your store name. This will be the first and last name you provided at registration unless you choose an alternative “Store Name.” You can enter or update your Store Name from the store profile section of your account details here.

Information about you, such as the email address associated with your account, your street
address or phone number, or your earnings and payout information, without your consent.
Messaging: Customers, Vendors, and Agencies may communicate with each other through the Service. For example, Customers may wish to discuss specific information related to a resource with a Vendor. If you communicate with anyone on the messaging platform on the Site, they will also be a “data controller” with respect to such communications.
